Overview

AMERISAFE is seeking a detail-oriented, productivity driven professional to add to our “Excellence Team” based in Pennsylvania. The Compliance Analyst will ensure that all PA/DE Workers Compensation interim and final audits are accurately calculated and to ensure all clients are provided with the highest standard of customer service while remaining compliant with test audit standards.

 

Upon an offer and acceptance of employment with AMERISAFE, you will be required to complete our pre-employment screening, which includes a criminal background check, a 10-panel drug test and, if applicable, a review of your motor vehicle report. A 10-panel drug test includes amphetamine/methamphetamine, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine metabolite (BZE), marijuana metabolite (THCA), methadone, methaqualone, codeine/morphine, phencyclidine, propoxyphene.

Qualifications

  • PA and DE premium auditing experience 1 year minimum, Preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of PCRB/DCRB manual rules, class code assignment requirements and have knowledge of auditing in all states.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions or recommendations for action
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and the ability to work independently
  • Detailed knowledge of premium audit practices and procedures
  • Accounting degree a plus

Responsibilities

  • Review of PA/DE audits per PCRB/DCRB guidelines prior to assigning to billing division
  • Provide written responses to test audit differences to gain compatibility
  • Communicate with policyholders during test audit review to ensure accuracy of audit information
  • Support of the PA/DE test audit program by performing a second in-depth review of test audit selections
  • Maintain the bureau standard of under 20% cumulative difference
  • Review and utilize revision of new rules and regulations outlined by the PCRB/DCRB
  • Provide support for quality assurance reviewer of all other states, as needed
  • Any miscellaneous duties assigned by supervisor
  • Foster the AMERISAFE culture by embracing the pillars of consistency, focus, frugality, ownership and service
