    The Accounts Receivable Analyst (Audit Collections) works with the coordinator to reconcile and address deficient accounts, working to collect past due payments.

    Responsibilities

    The successful individual in this key role will be responsible for:

    • Accurate and timely data entry -- payroll from the insured, other
    • Outbound and inbound professional calling to confirm receipt of invoice, follow up to agents, etc.  This may include difficult discussions about deficient payment status
    • Works with the coordinator to reconcile and address deficient accounts, working to collect past due payments
    • Prepares professional written communications to customers and others
    • Provides weekly reports of collection results
    • Monitors accounts and collects past due payments
    • Provides timely communications as directed to key stakeholders and governmental agencies

     

    Qualifications

    The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

    • High school diploma or GED required, advanced education a plus
    • Professional written and verbal communication skills
    • Collections experience is highly preferred
    • World class customer experience attitude
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and basic computer proficiency
    • Accurate typing and data entry
    • Commitment to the mission of AMERISAFE
